In case you too have forgotten what took place at Abu Dhabi in 2022, allow me to refresh your memory.

To no surprise, Sao Paulo was the most exciting Grand Prix as a whole. It teased the promise of what the whole 2022 season could have been but wasn’t.

Verstappen, Hamilton, and Perez finished 1, 2, and 3 in the *checks notes* 2022 Mexico Grand Prix. Crazy what a difference a year makes…

Red Bull officially secured the Constructor’s championship for 2022 in the wake of the news that they exceeded the cost cap for 2021.

The last Singapore GP was in 2019, and fans around the world had to wait an additional hour and 5 minutes due to the rain delay, and what a disappointment.

First race after the summer break, and I think some people are still on holiday…

IT’S RACE WEEK! Since it’s been a while, let me refresh you Hungarian GP (and my thoughts and opinions).  Buckle Up.

So… France was… kinda… fun? I mean it’s normally a pretty forgettable race (despite being second for most overtakes), but this year it absolutely delivered.

We are officially halfway through the 22-race calendar of 2022. Needless to say this season hasn’t quite panned out how I had hoped, but there’s still 11 races left, so there’s still hope. For now, let’s just talk about the Austrian GP.

Spent 4th of July weekend enjoying British sporting events, and I’m not mad about it. We’ve officially crossed the 10th race mark, which is both shocking and easy to believe. On the one hand it feels like this season has been going on forever, and but on the other, how have we had 10 races?! 

This was honestly the best shake up of the grid so far this season. Fernando Alonso starting P2 with both Haas drivers in the top 10, while Charles Leclerc started at the back in P19, and Sergio Perez P13, it was shaping up to be an interesting race.

For a race with little racing, there was certainly a lot of intrigue.

“Happy for the team, but we’ll need to speak later”. I spent the weekend celebrating some exciting family milestones, so I only watched FP1 on Friday morning, and the replay of the race Sunday evening. Without any delay, let’s just jump into the good stuff, because this actually was a very exciting race…

All flash and no substance. They really built this GP up. But obviously the race didn’t quite live up to the hype, but is anyone really that surprised?
